So after this evenings late night Crota runs a few of us were goofing around the Tower. Wildthing informed us that you're able to jump up on that first red-flag pole from the top of the little postal-hut.

Give it a few tries and I was able to jump up there with him and be the envy of all the ground-bound non-hunters in the area. Needless to say it didn't take us long to wonder if we could jump to the second red-flag pole.

Unfortunately, try as we might, we weren't able to close that daunting distance betwixt the two poles. But it got me thinking, what if you could time a jump from the postal-huts fan to get to the top of the second pole?

Quickly I maxed out my blade-dancers agility and requested aid from my fire-team. Beorn graciously acquiesced to my request and manned the fan-switch. It took us a few tries, but we were able to figure out the best timing for activation of the fan and sprint jumping.

By this time it was getting pretty late and as such our friendly neighborhood admin said he'd only have patience and time for three attempts.

First shot?

Bounced off the pole, but it was so close we felt like we were on the right track.

Second shot?

Too FAR! I went sailing clear over the pole to the other side. We now knew that it was certainly within the realm of possibility!

Third shot?

Turned out to be the charm. With a positively exceptional display of timing and platforming skillz, both in part by Beorn and myself, we were able to launch my Hunter up and through the air to gracefully alight upon the second red-flag pole.

It made me feel quite accomplished.

Anyway, I don't know if anyone's done it before, but it only took us about 5 minutes of effort and it was lots of fun to be hanging out at the top of the game world.
