Sounds like they're trying to use Vex technology to rewrite history.

It really looks from the videos we've seen that once we go up in the terminus, we have to chase Skolas through a bunch of different portals, to different vex areas. One of which is more than likely the vault.

Seeing videos where Bungie talks about story elements tends to just get me down. Hearing the Fallen vendor saying "I can help you find the Wolves" really puts me off. I really doubt he is going to "help" us find them. He might offer us missions or sell us stuff but I doubt, for instance, that there will be multiple options to "find" the Wolves of which he will be one. I assume he is just a vendor, like all the others.

And Petra saying I will "find some interesting allies here"? I mean, I'm pretty sure I will find some interesting vendors, with interesting stuff to vend me, but I don't think I will have any reason to like these characters or to feel like they are my "allies".
Hell, vendors are more like carpet-baggers than allies. They are profiting off of this war and taking my valuable resources. How much for that Efrideet's Spear Saladin? How about you don't try to drain my bank account while I'm out there fighting to protect your sorry hide, bud? I have never really felt that vendors are my allies, just that they are merchants.

I wonder how much the Speaker is going to skimming off the top of all this currency exchange, heh.
