Regarding "reloads weapon on super use" perk... (Destiny)

Does anyone know if it works when you don't have any ammo? Like, say, for a heavy in Crucible?

Otherwise, seems like a pretty weak perk. On a related note: does anyone have favorites among the new perks?

I don't think you can get that perk on heavies.

...was on a sniper rifle. Let's be honest, if I'm holing a sniper rifle and the team mate standing next to me uses his super, someone done fracked up :-)

The crucible vendor as a shotgun with a perk combo that is absolutely beautiful on a shotgun.
