What I liked (and I know it was done simply because it's easier, but it added a lot to it) was the fact that he lifted whole sections of the original poem, but, in making them literal instead of metaphorical as in the original poem, it changed the thing.

My favorite stanza:

Alas the pain increased in bunches, semblant of angelic punches
Swung by Seraphim whose rapturous knuckle-dusters seethe with scorn
“Wretch,” I cried, “thy Queen hath sent thee—>with these Wolfpack Rounds aplenty
Respite—respite and nepenthe from thy memories of this Whore;
Quaff, oh quaff this foul incursion and forget this royal Whore!”
Quoth the Hunter “Gjallarhorn!”
