As excited and hopeful as I was for the Titan's new defensive gloves, I could instantly see the possibilities (very plural) in Khepri's Sting. First, a couple of sample builds that will be awesome:

1. Cloaky Gunslinger: I'll start with this build because it is completely different from what your enemies will expect based on what they know of Destiny so far. With these new gloves you'll be able to have the range, power, and safety of your throwing knives and Golden Gun while still having access to 5ish seconds of complete stealth and the power of the Bladedancer's Backstab ability. Imagine slipping behind the enemy, backstabbing one, trip mining the next, and finishing off the final one with a Throwing Knife and Hand Cannon. This incredible combination can now be yours!

2. The "I have everything" Bladedancer: Like cloaking but feel a bit vulnerable using Arc Blade without Hungering Blade? Like the raw power of Backstab but hate giving up the reliability of Fast Twitch? No longer! Just equip these gloves and your cloaking and backstabbing are given to you for free! Concentrate on Intellect and Discipline for your Super and Grenade recharge and you'll be an unstoppable terror!

A few fun facts:

- Yes, you can cloak while Golden Gun is active! You'll only get a few seconds of both but maybe it'll be useful.
- Shadowjack does extend your cloak even if you are only using the cloaking given by these gloves.
- You do get the critical 4x backstab even as a Gunslinger.
- You get a ridiculous stinger on your shoulder and a giant beetle and your left wrist. :)
- Now Gunslingers can save a team from doom with cloaking!

My Verdict: Keeper for sure. The possibilities are at least two awesome builds... if not endless!

(Now if only anything would go right or me in the Crucible. I swear I haven't had a good game in hours! And that's when Destiny's complete lack of sanity checking for Join In Progress isn't sticking me into losing 19,000 to 4,000 games or starting new games when my team from the very beginning only have four players! Sheesh!)
