the upgrade delima (Destiny)
I had one drop for me the first nightfall after the update, non since. Some of the armor you can get pre-ascended which is how I got one of my pieces on each character. The two etherized light I got today is because I took advantage of the rank reset exploit. First time I ever got it to work for me. Wouldn't normally be able to do it but I called work to say I'll be late.
If this remains an example of how quickly you can get etheric light to rank up then I'm going to be on the same gear for a long time.
