Situation: I have only level 32/33 characters right now. Need 1 etheric light to get a character to 34. Would like to run level 34 PoE to get said etheric light.

So for anyone who has run it this week - is it doable with a team of 33s, or should I be looking for a couple 34s to help carry me? I was going to run 34 last week, but it didn't work out very well with a team of 33s. However, it sounds like last week's was especially tough, so maybe this week's isn't so bad?

It was easy. Easier than the 32 in fact. You should be fine as a 33. When I did it we wiped twice on the 32 at Qodron, and zero times on the 34.

Its easy. half the rounds dont even have bombs. One round has destroy the bombs so you can just shoot them from safe spots. Just have to get the boss really fast. otherwise it will drag on and on. We might do one tonight if you are interested. PS4

I'm down to run it with you. I actually wanted to do 28-34 last night, but my entire friends list was in Iron Banner already. :P

I can play after 9pm pacific, so I understand if that's a wrinkle. ;)

Took us under 40 minutes BOTH times we ran it last night. Would totally do it again if I get home in time tonight.

I'd expect the most difficult part will be the final boss where you have to do damage fast to kill him before he regens health. Get the adds under control and in a good spot to damage the boss, then unload heavy, use synths, unload heavy again, then primaries, etc. Hopefully you can kill him before he regens again.

We figured it out on the second playthrough. On the left side (looking from where you come in) of the arena, Major Dregs spawn out of a door. They have some kind of special name I forget, but you'll know them immediately when you see them. If you kill every single one, then the boss won't regenerate. Not that's it a problem really, since you have plenty of time to do it. You could easily do it with no heavies at all.

edit -- and be careful with close quarters, their shotguns are pretty tough!

I wonder if the amount of health gained by the servitor is tied to the # of those dregs that are still alive when it comes time for him to regain health.

They walk over to him and he eats them. He seems to get a certain % for each one because he won't automatically regain all of his health just for one (he stopped regen around 75% last night). However, I think it's a pretty significant % per dreg... maybe 25%.

We didn't even touch him. We killed the ADD's first, he did his thing. And by the time he was done we then unloaded on him. It took like 21 Ghorns, so 3 people with 365 goes quick.

I like playing with you, and I would do it more often, but the problem is your actual play time is based on your name! ;)

I tried to join you last night after you sent an invite but I was in the middle of something when you sent it and then when I finished a minute or so later you had joined a full social space and every time I tried to join you after that you were wither full or not joinable (matchmaking).

I'd be down to do PoE 34 again tonight -- 10PM PT or later. I have very little interest in Iron Banner. Maybe I'll grind to rank 3 over the weekend when the bonus is bigger, but I'm definitely not going to play it all week.

I'd be okay. Especially now that I have some extra to level up my warlock. Can't wait utnil I can start using etheric light on some old weapons. Kinda interested in doing 32 again so I can get an armor core for that titan helm but I don't like Qudron...

Thanks a ton to Lawnmower172 and ChrisTheeCrappy for their help. It was tough, but with perseverance, (and especially Chris using one of his etheric light to hit 34 towards the end, LOL), we made it. I finally have a character at 34! It's all downhill from here.
