From what I have read across a few reddit threads. All three (Felwinter, Matador, and Party Crasher) can max out their range stat with the right perks. So it seems to come down to personal preference for a lot of people.

From what I have read some people tend to like the party crasher because it has a higher rate of fire than the matador and the extra impact from the matador typically doesn't make a huge difference. So if you happen to not one shot them you can follow up quicker with the crasher.

It doesn't seem like you can go wrong with any of those weapons though and just choose one that you are most comfortable using.

I just got a matador myself and am looking forward to trying it out once I try rerolling it to see if I can get the perks I want.
