Xur's junk: 3rd Man, Light Beyond, Mk. 44, Remote, chest. (Destiny)

Universal Remote is great if you know how to aim for the head. It can outshoot Felwinter's IF you hit a guy in the head.

I haven't used either of them in PvP, but I can believe that. The critical damage boost on UR is no joke. Ever since the shotgun buff in PvE, it makes mincemeat out of anything with a critical hit zone.

Light Beyond Nemesis is a good exotic. Makes extra orbs, quick revives for Trials. Plus, it's a helmet, so it's not competing with much.

It doesn't seem to be everyone's favorite, but I agree. I think the team support perks are worthwhile, and nowadays with Crota hard mode the "heal on orb pickup" thing is much more useful.

Mask of the Third Man is all right. Had an orb heal perk, but the reduced bladedancey thing gets in less than one extra swipe.

I'll say this: It's much more significant if you're using the ability to recharge the meter with each kill (and actually get a chance to do so).

Stand Asides are awful.

Yeah, I don't know if it's quite that bad, but I don't see them being all that useful myself. One would have to REALLY be focusing on shoulder charge for them to make any difference at all. I feel like unless you're using shoulder charge on every single enemy, you're just not getting that much out of this one. That being said, like any exotic or raid boots, they do give you extra heavy ammo. So this is a way to obtain that perk if you don't yet have other means.

My suggestion for the Mk. 44s would be instead of slightly extending the time shoulder charge is active, just allow it to be active all the time (when sprinting, anyway). Would that be overpowered in PvP? Probably, yes, but it's the only thing I can think of that would make them worthy of using up the exotic slot, short of just adding a whole new perk.
