One of the better instances of Celestial Nighthawk's pure stopping power that I've experienced:
Running the weekly heroic last week, I pop my super and fire a single shot through a level 32 Hive Knight Major, AND kill the Ogre directly behind him :D

It also one shots the Deathsinger!
It is extremely useful in the PoE missions where you have to kill a target. Fatebringer for the mobs, Nighthawk for the tougher foes. I like it more the Symbiote now for PvE.
