How good is hidden hand, especially on hand cannons? I recently bought a Red Hand IX to roll as a crucible gun. I'm trying to decide between rolling it with counterbalance for very high stability, or hidden hand for more aim assist. Any suggestions?

My thoughts, and im an idiot:
Works REALLY well. I have it on a Hygiea Noblesse (Scout Rifle) and it works great. Essentially as long as my first shot is good and nothing crazy is going on I can land multiple headshots without really having to aim, just keep pulling the trigger. This is not the case for other guns to me.
again, I am an idiot, so take that with a grain of salt.
I'd love to know more details about how this perk works.
I use my A.1X-19F scout rifle over my gheleon's demise for I think what this perk does. The stats are near identical between them (same RoF, impact, etc). I use the same scope on both, almost the exact same perks. And yet my A.1F has almost double the "target acquisition" stat than gheleon's demise has. So my Gheleon's sits in my vault and I really love using my A.1F. On paper they look nearly identical, but they very much are not in practice.

I noticed a similar thing the other day with Icebreaker vs. Praedith's Revenge. Praedith's hits where I'm aiming, Icebreaker seems to shoot magnetic bullets or something, since I can literally put my reticle full off of someone's head and still hit them right in the noggin. Granted, neither of those has hidden hand, but magnetism is definitely a thing.

Here's why

Planet Destiny Aim Assist on Snipers
Ice Breaker: 50 aim assist
Preaydth's Revenge: 20 aim assist

Also, here is a link to a database with all values of Aim Assist for every weapon in the game.
Edit: Also, from the look of it, the highest aim assist in the game for a Hand Cannon is 90, and Red Hand IX sits at 89... So with Hidden Hand, it is probably as high of an aim assist as is possible in Destiny for a HC.

Thanks for the video. I'm still unsure which would be better for followup shots. Counterbalance will keep the muzzle climb down, but hidden hand will make aiming the followup shot easier.
