Another IB down

Had a great time this past week. Got all characters to lvl 5 and got all the Class Items for Next time around. One weight gone off my back. Got an Ill Will and a few other decent drops. After reaching rank 5 and a little glimmer grinding, I decided to do the Daily Crucible mission. Clash.

HOLY SMOKES, it was so relaxing being able to go where I wanted to and not to a specific kill zone to capture a point. I had alot of fun being THAT guy camping in the back on Shores of Time.

How did everyone elses IB go? Any good drops?

Went really well for me. Was finally able to get to rank 4 and grab everything I wanted plus 1 Etheric light.

Wasn't able to get my last Iron Wrath but other than that I was really happy this time around.

Got a few ok drops, nothing I really needed or wanted so everything got sharded for motes.

Looking forward to a more laid back Crucible tomorrow night. I did get a bit tired of Control style twords the end.

Out of town, doing some life stuff (have been having a lot of life changing things this year), missing events I wanted to do, missing gaemz I wanted to play, etc.

And I'll tell you what. This has been my fave iron banner yet, because I didn't bother and I didn't want any of the stuff. I played Destiny as much as I wanted (only a couple times this week because I've been busy/far away), and it was good. I came back today at around 4 AM on the 360 since I had brought it with me, and had some good fun doing 20 bounties on my titan. When was the last time that was like, properly stupid fun as opposed to kinda fun timewaster?

I've actually slowed down on Destiny recently. I'm also still coping with the new idea of Game time vs Wife time. So I didn't actually get a single IB game in this week.

I mean, the months after getting married mixed with games isn't easy, but at least Destiny didn't drop 4 weeks after your wedding day. She at least had the entire engagement to figure that Destiny is "kinda a big deal".

Just keep phrasing it as "Mind if I grab a beer with my brother tonight?", and when she says yes, walk to your fridge and pop one open, and then sit on the couch with your controller :)

I know exactly what you mean here but I also have my 6 month baby to factor in :P

I was able to get rank 5 though (first time), got the 2 etheric lights,that stupid shader, new chest piece (because looks matter to hunters) and the that HoW IB cloak too.

As for drops. Got Il Will, and a number of stupid ARs and high RoF+low impact+4 round snipers, all of which got sharded for motes. Pretty good times

Ascended my newly acquired fang of it ut which will be fantastic in the nightfall. I just need to ascend my final boss, get that VoG hard mode helmet and Vex Mythoclast and my guardian is completed :D

How did everyone elses IB go? Any good drops?

I had a blast! No noteworthy drops, but I did buy a boatload of new Iron Banner gear, as well as the Pulse Rifle. I now have every IB weapon, which is cool.

I got all 3 characters to rank 5, so I was able to stock up Etheric Light. Between Iron Banner, Trials of Osiris, and Prison of Elders, I was able to get 12 pieces of Etheric Light this week. Time to ascend some armor!

Didn't get to play much. Only got one character to level 4, but I got one etheric light, both the armor pieces, and Jolder's Hammer out of it, so I'm okay with that.

Got a Matador 64, Spare Change, Another NitC, and a NA3D1 Salvation State from random drops. I also got an auto rifle which I immediately moted, because auto rifle.

I'm really enjoying the Salvation State (and the Matador, obviously). I haven't tried the Spare Change yet, but I can't see me not using Red Death as my primary pulse rifle. It's just too good to give up.
