Beta Crucible Mode (Destiny)

You know what would be fun? A Crucible playlist where everyone is limited to Level 8... Just like the Beta.

Tired of the Meta? Want a more balanced, but still varied Crucible experience? Actually, this would basically be the playlist that the "Project Hawk" guys are desiring. Haha!

Seriously though, I really liked the Beta Crucible. Something about everyone being level 8, the base models of the guns being really balanced, and the lack of Thorn. Or maybe just the nostalgia. I'd love to get out a Shingen-C and go to town again. :)

Not sure if you jest, but I've actually seen this idea brought up more times than you might think in PvP discussion threads.

It's kind of a half joke/half serious thing. It feels like it would be simple to implement, it would fit within the game's parameters, but still be different enough that it could keep the Crucible fresh. No matter what the main Crucible meta became, a level capped Crucible would always be different.

I don't have room in my vault for green weapons.

This would be far more awesome than you realise

Just think about not having a maxed skill set on your class. Properly chosing your perks to completement your play style and gain the upper hand.

Very limited perks on guns, nades, supers and melee all recharging at completely different rates.

I would play the shit out of this daily.
