4th Horseman + Nightfall = Death. *Vid* (Destiny)
Wanted to cap a quick vid of the Horseman versus the Spider Tank, but had so much fun that I wanted to make a quick highlight reel of the run (although you can skip to 1:45 to see the Tank). The Horseman's DPS is definitely something scary: it takes two shots to bring down the Spider tank (correctly aimed), and they're pumped out in under half a second. Taniks fared a little better, but not much. On my next two runs, he didn't even make it out of the gravity lift during the first encounter (at one point kidnapping Sammy when he left).
The only catch is that at that range, you die every time. Fortunately the game auto-revives you, so it's worth it.

(Sorry for the crap quality/scale gif)

Why the turret and not the legs?
Wow, that’s weird. I’m surprised the turret didn’t just fall off, but instead allowed enough damage “through” to flat out kill the Walker. Wonder why that is.

The legs cap your damage at a certain point (the instant they blow). The turret allows the damage to punch through to the body without forcing you to wait through an animation. You can survive if you blow out the legs, though, but since you get insta-revived, I don't see why you'd bother (unless you were going for the no-death bounty).
The turret does fall off, but by that point, the damage to the body has already killed it. No idea how it works.

How about the head?
Every video here of this week's bounty has been about damaging the turret. I feel like I'm missing some crucial bit of information. I thought about the leg capping damage, like you said, but how about the head?

Head has damage reduction. Turret is similar to leg damage.

Killed Taniks early last night
After the spider tank, when he surprises you in the hallway. We had two Fourth Horsemans charge down the hall and unload when he appeared, then I popped a Fist of Havoc. He went from 60% health to nothing in under 3 seconds.
Sadly the Taniks you fight in the final room is a separate instance with his own health, so you can't end the Strike early.

Killing Taniks should count wherever
