I similarly can't be as elusive as the rest of the thread, even though I liked it. My least favorite parts were the gunplay bits, which I am told are gone in the new version?

Yep, guns are gone. I agree that that was one part of the original that seemed undercooked. Never saw it as the main course or really necessary, though, so it didn't matter to me.

Only time I would seriously use a gun was to use a pistol to shoot open doors when doing time trial.
