Whenever you hear 'Prophecy of Doom'; it means a network engineer just got fired.

Just so good he's never wiped at Oracles

...I do t get it.
Is this something I'd understand if I actually read subtitles and informational popups while playing VoG?

Yeah, I didn’t know either…

So I Googled it. And it brought me back here. :-P
Apparently “Prophecy of Doom” is the name of the debuff you get if you don’t take out the Atheon Oracles in time.

I made a platformer in my software engineering class and borrowed some of the artwork from that show for the enemies. For one of the enemies we used the purple mini-moose and decided to have him breathe fire at the player. Due to a small bug, he ended up farting fire instead. :P

One of my first group projects was a multiplayer arena laser-tank game. We had some unallocated time near the end, so we added multiple vehicle models for the player to choose from- one of which was just a bear on his hind legs. Due to the elevation of the projectiles being a fixed value, the bear would fire lasers from his crotch.

Perfect! Ship it!

Honestly never noticed that in all my other runs. Probably because I was too busy just trying not to die.

Were you like...?

...prophecy of doom, huh?
I like to imagine raga made the same face as Hubert right after you said it.

Well, it's a pretty rare message.

And you basically know it's coming before the thing even pops up, so by then you're probably offing yourself or dancing or jumping into a hole or punching atheon in the shin, or already dead yourself.
