Hopped on Trials with two LFG folks, and was pleasantly surprised with how well we meshed and communicated. They handled our shortcomings well and would tend to laugh off dire mistakes. It was a lot of fun, and we were actually doing pretty well, even when we didn't win...

Until we came up against three apparent regulars to the lighthouse, and got totally stomped. I love that it didn't sour our mood, but right before their fifth win, something changed...

Unfortunately couldn't capture the first comeback rounds due to the five-minute limit, but they were doozies, and every second in this clip was filled with excited chatter and amazement (always something when every last second is a last grasp at hope). We didn't quite make it to the lighthouse (They got the Helmets), but it was a fun run nonetheless.

But that snapshot/slapshot sniping thing needs to be fixed. There were definitely a couple bullshit snipes in that video (and if you argue, I’m going to clip them out and slo-mo them just to make my point). ;-)

In all fairness, he also "missed" some obvious hits, so it evens out.

did my first trials run the other night with squid and garibaldi. it went pretty good for the most part. we never got to 9 wins, but we did get far enough to buy the helmet from brother vance.

We would go on pretty good win streak, and then just hit a wall of 'pro' players, or just flat out bad luck. and yes, there was a lot of BS sniping going on.

There was one particular game where we were winning 3-0, and ended up losing 3-5.

I think they should flip sides after every round. The team that spawns on the high ground is more likely to win on this map.
