PVP Sniper Suggestions (Destiny)

Looking for some suggestions as to what you snipers would recommend for Crucible/Trials Sniping. OBVIOUSLY a final round sniper would be nice, but I dont have one. Right now I use an LDR with crappy perks in Trials but prefer my praedyths Revenge for general handling reasons. I am working on my New Monarchy rep to try and get the Violator XII. Seems like a solid Rifle.
What do you guys recommend/use?
