If you can drudge through levels 2-20, use your original character to get an armor core each week from the Prison of Elders. Then transfer it to your new alt, visit the Reef (unlocks at level 20), buy the armor piece of the week from Variks, and wait until the following week.

The armor will by default have 42 Light. After a few weeks of this, you'll have a max level character and will have effectively skipped levels 21-33.

Heh, that was my plan to get my level 26 Titan up to snuff. Gotta get my 33 Warlock and 32 Hunter maxed first, though.

Granted, at that point, you'll have a maxed out character without all of his abilities, which kind of sucks. But I guess its still better than not having either.

Took me about a week of casual play to hit 34, and I've already got an exotic and core for my Titan. The downside of having low-ability classes isn't a big deal. Took two weeks to max both subclasses, so do the bounties and you'll have most important perks in no time.

Already hoarded up 4 Armor Cores and a few different Exotics for my future Hunter. I'll give her a pass up until I max both subclasses. If I still don't like playing a Hunter after that, it's deletion and Warlock for me.

I'm in the same boat, just not quite as far along. I still need a +42 light helmet to max my main character, and I just got my second character to level 23 thanks to a random exotic helmet from an engram from Xür. Next on the list is my lowly level 2 third character that hasn't been touched since creation. Haha

I've been thinking about deleting my second hunter and making a titan. But then I'd have to run around doing bounties and stuff to get exp for the talent tree. If strikes count towards bounties, why not PoE (my fav activity)?!?!? Why so stingy Bungie?

Heh, it's funny. My 26 Titan was the first character I created, and I played until about level 22 with her. Then I created my Hunter, got her to level 28 or so, then created my Warlock. Once she was equal with my Hunter, I switched back and forth between those two, and they stayed pretty close to each other.

Someone I just ended up not really having time for my Titan, and she got left behind. Bought a helmet engram from Xur and got here Saint-14, so she jumped up a bit there. Just need to get her some legendary armor pieces to start getting her up there.

You might as well keep her until TTK comes out so you can try that third subclass without levelling another Hunter down the line.

I'll most definitely not finish leveling her up until quite a bit after TTK drops. :p
