It was late, and i should have gone to bed, but i decided to join an LFG group that said they were looking to help someone to the lighthouse. The 2 guys were in a clan together; 1 had been to the lighthouse already this week on all three, the other guy was trying to finish up his secondary character.

These guys were damn good. We steamrolled over the first game no problem. On our second game, we got a little cocky and lost 5-4, but no problem bc i had picked up a mercy.

After that won we string of matches 5-2, 5-1, 5-2, & 5-2. Then disaster struck. We were winning our 7th match 3-1. Two of theirs were down, and all 3 of us were still up. We had their last guy cornered at the Bravo spawn, when out came the golden gun. But it wasn't the golden gun that was the problem. Right at that moment, he started to walk into a wall. A few seconds later, i was weasled.

My xbox was useless, i had to reboot it. After i got back on, i rejoined the party chat. They were still in the game. The golden gun had wiped them out. They tried to pull out a win without me, but they ended up losing 3-5.

The loss stung, no way of getting to the lighthouse now. Still we pushed on. I could still get to 9 wins.

After that loss, one of the guys wanted to start a new card. I knew i couldn't stay awake too much longer, so i decided to keep working on the card i had. I figured with the way we were playing, that i could get too 9 wins. Since we are at the reef, i go ahead and buy the Boon.

We win our next game 5-1. I'm now at 8 wins, 1 loss.

We proceed to lose the next two games 3-5 and 4-5. The first game stuck us on alpha team. Bravo rushed us hard every time. we had a lot of clutch revives, but we just couldn't overcome.

2 losses now, 8 wins.

The final game put us back on Bravo, but we were no match for the opposing team. They had one guy get 16 kills (3.2 k/d), using an adept Messenger. losing 3-0, we rally on the heavy ammo round, but it's too little too late. We lose 4-5.

Oh well, I got to 8 wins, which i think is pretty damn good. This was my first weekend to play Trials. I had gotten to 6 wins on Friday. I ended up buying the helmet and shotty from Brother Vance, and got the "Tomorrow's Answer" rocket when i turned my card in.

I go to bed at 2am. Looks like i may need a Destiny Red Bull ;)

TLDR: I had 2 legit loses, and 1 BS weasel error loss.

And Tomorrow's Answer is one of the best rocket launchers in the game, and it already comes with a perfect roll. That's nice.

that does make me feel a little better. I have got to grind and start leveling some of this gear up. It seems like for ToO, you really need close to max Intellect and Discipline. 90% or better discipline starts you off with a grenade every round. I have too much armor with strength or strength/discipline, or armor with int/dis but the stats are for non-guardian kills.
