Need some persuasion. Its only 20 dollars at gamestop and I could still get the expansion pass for 35 if I got indebted enough. I rarely play my xbox and it bothers me. I DO NOT want to get rid of it, but I spent good money on it and really want to play something to bring me back. I think Halo will probably keep me invested for awhile if the Taken King is a let down.

Financially, it probably makes more sense to wait a couple months and get The Taken King plus all of the current content for only $60.

On the other hand, these next two months are the perfect opportunity to work your way through all the content so you're ready for tTK, and it's never been easier to level up quickly. (In case you didn't already know, Korny started playing on Xbox only two weeks ago and already has one max-level character, plus two alts that are above 30. Oh, and he now has two Gjallarhorns already on Xbox!)

I will probably get the basic game. and see how I like it. I have never played with the xbox one guys so it will be fun to see how the other side lives and how the PVP is. Any takes to help a noob through?

For sure. I have been playing primarily on Xbone lately, and Korny has as well. Plus, there are plenty of Xbox regulars that are just as cool as the PS4 crew. I still have one more character (the Titan) to roll on Xbox so we could go through most of the progression stuff together.

If I do get sucked in I will probably just roll one character to max. and have alts for storage. I would feel the need to do everything 6 times every week. blegh.

Or, you could just decide to focus on a character on each platform every week, maybe letting a character or three take the week off completely. I don't think I've yet had a week where I played as all six characters.

I might have six 34s when TTK comes out. I may not. I'll never be one to have all characters and each weapon type maxed out ASAP. It's okay.

I Did it. And I don't regret it. But I can't seem to recommend it either. Still, I do think it would be fairly hilarious to end up with a Raid consisting entirely of PS4 players on Xbox…so yeah. do it.

Watch your friends. See who they add. Name sound familiar? Add that guy.

The problem is that you'll only get the new ones, then pop in a game with Furhman and be like "Oh shit, Jinx!" And then forget to add him.

I don't the Xbox One friends list is two-way. If you add someone, I think they don't get notified, nor do you automatically appear on theirs.

There's not a pop-up notification, but you can see who has added you. There's an "activity alerts" section in the Friends app for that.

95% of time the I've spent in the Friends App was through Snap.

Well I am thinking of restarting my Titan at some point soon (I don't have an Exo, yet, and I want one, and my Titan is my lowest at only 26, so I'm not giving up much yet but deleting her), so I'd co-op the missions with you.
