1- Chill Out - I did much better when I was more at ease. Also, Don't Panic. It doesn't help to panic when you're in a tight spot. There were several times I could have revived Cody or Cruel & I panicked and didn't take the time to properly find their orb or some such nonsense.
2- Cruel & Cody are pretty good players and even better sports.
3- Communication and Coordination are so very key. Coordinated attacks are much more effective. Also, call out when you die, even if it means talking over someone.
4- Don't shoot rockets into the bridge, especially if you're the last guarding standing. Also, don't throw lightning grenades into the wall directly in front of yourself. (although this particular tactic turned out ok the one time I'm thinking of)
5- Find multiple tactics that work well as a team so you can change it up.
6- Cauldron Specifics: When you have control of room B don't press the attack against a team in C (or A). Also, if your going to die, don't do it on the bridge, and try to do it far enough away from a door that the door can close when someone comes to revive you.
7- I should recored my gameplay for a couple reasons. First, the hilarity. Second, so I can learn what was done wrong when panicking.

I learned many more things, entirely too many to write down now, and a list of 7 is good. Overall I feel that #1 & #3 (and #4) would be of the most help to me. I feel that #1 will come with experience and comfort with this mode. I had a lot of fun even though I only had a couple good plays. I've been wanting to do some more PvP and this has increased my desire to get better at PvP.

the games that i've done the best on is where we hang back (no matter which side we start on), until we can pick one of their guys off, then rush in while its 3v2. Their instinct is to revive that guy Asap, so they usually have at least 1 other guy exposed. If one guy sneaks around to the C door, you can get some good cross fire, as their attention is on the A door.

on the heavy round, void walkers and golden guns are good for wiping an entire team on the bridge heavy

Where's the capture point on cauldron?

That capture point is right behind the "Alter" in the center B room.

I'm a terrible player (as red robber's data mining can attest), but I've run with some pretty good players and I've picked up a few tips for Cauldron:

If you spawn on C side, you have a definite advantage - you can get to the center room much quicker than the other team. Get in there, stay put and cover the doors. As long as you stay out of the sniper lanes, you can control the room and force the other team to come to you.

If you spawn on A side, don't just rush the center room (they're expecting it). We found success with the team running past A, through the Back heavy room to the green C room and beyond (coordinating a rush from the C door, C lower door and/or bridge). Lead with grenades.

If/when you kill one of the enemy, your next step depends on where the orb is. If it's outside the room, quickly rush the other team - they're down a man and distracted by the revive (this only works if you're quick and going as a 3-on-2 group). If the orb is inside the room, stay put and be ready for the rush.

We had decent success with rushing B from A spawn by going outside instead of up the stairs. If you go up the stairs the C team will beat you into the room.
