DBO Death Panel (Destiny)

As I recall, there was some talk of a sharding weapon advisory service. I have come to seek their council.

I have too many NL Shadows with full auto and explosive rounds. The one I got by spending quality time with the gunsmith also has third eye fast draw and focus lens. The one the crucible just handed me has army of one (unassisted Kills reduce melee and grenade timer) QuickDraw and focus lens. Which do I keep? Only one may live.

This one is 100% ymmv.

I always prefer 3rd eye, not because it's better, but because I like it. Army of one is also a good perk. Allows you to do more damage.

Personally, I'd reroll for a reload perk on that gun. Its mag runs out pretty quick.

EDIT: I had one with casket mag and zen moment and only used it on my hunter to even out the stability drop. It was decent. It previously had outlaw. They were both good, but I deleted it to save space for when I deleted my titan.

Depends what you're doing

Third Eye is thoroughly mediocre in PvE, but pretty handy in PvP. If you're using it like a replacement AR Thord Eye probably still isn't that handy, but if you're hardscoping it's nice to be aware of your surroundings. The bature of the gun means you're ptobably doing the former, but it's all down to playstyle.

Army of One can be nice anywhere, but is definitely more effective in PvE where there are more enemies with lower health, so you're more likely to are more likely to be getting unassisted kills (and enough of them to make a real difference).

Generally I would say Third Eye for PvP and Army of One for PvE, but given the nature of the gun, ymmv depending on your playstyle. If you're a lone wolf, run-n-gun kinda guy in Crucible Ao1 might be great there too.

Tl:Dr - Third Eye is only really for PvP (IMO) Army of One can be applicable anywhere depending on your playstyle, but is more noticeable in PvE.

I'll add that 3rd eye is extremely useful for lightswitch.

Third Eye is great for any occasion.

Do wish they'd included the Bill Hicks clips during the live recording.

If you want it for PvP, keep the third eye.

If you want it for PvE, keep the Army of One.

If you want a dual role, I'd suggest Army above Third Eye.... but like Funks said, it can save you on lightswitch.

The crucible reddit suggests comparing it to the One/One Synesthete from the vendor. It has a lower rate of fire and a smaller magazine than the NL Shadow, but it's more stable and has significantly higher aim assist. Add rodeo to reduce recoil and braced frame to make it more of a laser, and Third Eye for situational awareness.

This is tough to say, because low impact high rate of fire scouts are bad right now compared to medium and high impact. They are however getting an improvement in TTK. I would say keep none of those if not for the patch. Just play with all of them and see what you like. There's really no such thing as a best roll on scouts. Ditch the one with third eye, since the archetype is not great for PvP.

I know this is two days old, but maybe it still matters, and if so, here's my 2c.

For PvP I've played around some with the NL Shadow 710 X. I rerolled it a bunch and finally settled on full auto, hand-laid stock, and crowd control. The more stable you can get it, the better when using full auto.

For PvE I don't use it much because the clip is too small really to be very effective. That and I prefer scouts with high impact, otherwise I'd be going with a pulse probably (oversoul edict probably) for this kind of use.
