Looks like it only shows you basic stats for the most recently equipped class. Is there a feature I'm missing?

It looks like it allows you to pull up info for any gamertag (like you're one of your newly-matched trials opponents) and immediately see what he/she and the other two people in his/her fireteam have equipped.
I can't wait to try this out this weekend!

That's the point. Bare bones view if who you are up against. Instead of looking at each person in game, just type in one gt and it pulls the whole party.
It shows the weapons, perks, intellect, etc.
