just a thought - (Destiny)
After seeing the new weapons made by the 3 factions, omolon, hakke and suros I took a look at our existing weapons and saw..
Monte Carlo looks to be designed by Hakke, those sleek solid lines and the complete whiteness fit perfectly.
Hard light was designed by omonlon, the colour scheme, futuristic look and certainly the blue bullets fit this to a Tee.
Suros regime goes without saying really..
Can anyone back up my thoughts with the weapons grimoir at all? Would be pretty neat.

Monte Carlo is the antithesis of Hakke's design philosophy.
Simplicity over intricacy. Function over flair.

Monte Carlo sprang fully formed from the mind of God.

I don't think Monte Carlo is Hakke. Monte Carlo is far too sleek compared to the more functional (and current day) look of the Hakke weapons. Also we know what the Hakke logo looks like:
Whereas the only logo of any kind on Monte Carlo looks like a company we haven't seen yet (if it even is one):
Hard light was designed by omonlon, the colour scheme, futuristic look and certainly the blue bullets fit this to a Tee.
It absolutely is Omolon. If you look at the exotic perk on it, it is the Omolon logo:
Suros regime goes without saying really..
Pocket Infinity and Feedback Fence intrigue me
Both have the same symbol, which I think is the symbol for Rasputin? What does he have to do with this gear? Was he just made by the same people? Or did he have a direct influence on their design?

I think it may be the logo for a research team of some kind, you can see it in a few places around the Rasputin bunker, but it also appears on the Crucible map "Anomaly":
Ooh, good catch!

Don't read too much into those perk symbols

The Anomaly
That map features something that resembles a lot what I took as Rasputin's AI core on those Crota missions. It's probably something connected to the Warminds themselves, maybe the research team responsible for them.
Pocket Infinity, according to its description, is an experimental weapon, so the Warminds probably played a big role in its design. I'd guess the same happened with Feedback Fence.

I'd guess Monte Carlo and Gjallarhorn go together
Same with the Alpha Lupi gear, Ruin Wings and Mk.44 Stand Aside

Feedback Fence
The Fence is made from a warsat, so I would assume the marking indicates it is part of the same golden age faction as the Warminds. That P.I., a weapon stolen or adapted from the Vex also does brings up some interesting questions.
Feedback Fence
The Fence is made from a warsat,
It is? Is that mentioned in the Grimoire somewhere?
I really wish Exotic Armour had Grimoire entries like the weapons do.
EDIT: It's literally mentioned right there in the flavour text. I'm an idiot.
I'd guess Monte Carlo and Gjallarhorn go together
Gjallarhorn was made by Crux/Lomar, I believe? They also made Truth, but I'm not sure if they're explicitly mentioned anywhere else.

What ever happened to Crux, anyway?

We fed it to the Eidolon Ally to get Nechrocasm. Durr.
Crota was a majority shareholder.

Odd
Truth looks nothing like Gjallarhorn. If anything, Truth looks like Omolon.
truth definitely looks omolon.
In regards to weapons not fitting to a manufacturer we've seen, what about universal remote and invective? Universal remote could of been made by gunsmith as its got the look of a lot of guns mashed together as mentioned in the update text about using old scrapped guns
But invective is sleek, glowly, looks brand new. Where does this fit in?

truth definitely looks omolon.
The logo also appears on the back of the "Heart of the praxic fire" warlock robes.

That may also have something to do with it being Ikora's gun (her being the Warlock Vanguard of course). If the symbol is related to something with Warlocks, especially Sunsingers, it makes a lot of sense to be on a Solar shotgun that a Warlock owned.

If you notice Truth has a quote from Lomar, and Gjallahorn has a quote from Crux. I would imagine Gjallahorn was Crux's baby, and Truth Lomar's, which would explain the vastly different designs.

I'll be so disappointed if Ikora is a Sunsinger... :p

Odd
Do the two quotes go together or against each other in any way?

Not really:
Gjallahorn: "If there is beauty in destruction, why not also in its delivery?" - Feizel Crux
Truth: "...is where you seek it." - Lomar
disappoint :(
