The logo also appears on the back of the "Heart of the praxic fire" warlock robes.
That may also have something to do with it being Ikora's gun (her being the Warlock Vanguard of course). If the symbol is related to something with Warlocks, especially Sunsingers, it makes a lot of sense to be on a Solar shotgun that a Warlock owned.
