360 peeps, start saving your blue armor. (Recruitment)
I want to try an all rare (blue) armor Normal VoG sometime this week. Start working those strike playlists.

Vanilla blue or HoW blue?

Vanilla blue or HoW blue?
Doesn't matter but try to be at least 26?
What's the max light level you can reach?
I think vanilla you were stuck at 24, TDB probably 26, and HOW probably 28, but can anyone confirm this?
Does it also need to be all blue guns?
Guns are still up in the air.

Speedy says max is 28, so I imagine it's something like that? You can be up to 28. Not sure about guns. I want to say VoG guns are good, even if you've ascended them, but no exotics.
Also maybe no fatebringer.

Blue armor can currently have up to 26 light each. 26 x 4 = 104 which puts right at level 28 and a half.

What if the ONLY legendary guns allowed are from Vault of Glass normal mode?

So blue primaries and praedyth's revenge/found verdict/praetorian foil/corrective measure?
That'd be pretty cool
Old 300 legendaries if there still some of those around, since we could buy them from the vendors. But yeah, a full retro VoG run should be pretty cool. Given how much we advanced in terms of strategy, I wonder how much better we could do over the first few groups.
Stranger's Rifle for primary.
Or else you have to use the khvostov.

You would cry if you saw how much room is left in my vault.
I gotta remember to take a picture of that.

I've never seen any blue armor with the little I or II noting it was introduced later, I'm pretty sure it's all from launch.

Why not Atheon's Epilogue? Are we pretending Atheon doesn't happen? Also Praetorian foil's a hard mode drop. Hezen Vengeance might be what you're thinking of.
It's there. DLC exclusive.
You can only get it from doing the DLC missions and the DLC strike playlists.

Nice catch.
Maybe allow non-primary Exotics?
I don't want to make regular combat flow too easy, but the Templar and Atheon will simply be a grind with retro guns...
Maybe allow non-primary Exotics?
Corrective Measure will still destroy Atheon.
Templar will definitely be more interesting, which should be fun. If I'm available when this happens, I'll be interested in participating if there is an open slot.
Best source of blues: Crucible
Just roll regular crucible for a couple hours. You should have a whole set of blues 28 max blues by the end.
well, fatebringer does deal blue damage :3

FTB event is up for Friday.
Check it out, let me know if I forgot anything in the rules or if one of them is stoopid.
Aight here you go. My vault as of yesterday.
Hearing a lot of interest for other days.
Consider date & time tentative, this might move.

Still think capes are dumb... *IMGs*
One of the notable examples Bungie used as inspiration on the hunter was Han Solo.
You know who would never wear a cape? HAN SOLO.
He might, however, wear a scarf. Scarfs are classy. and practical.
You know who wore a cape? This guy over here. At least, until Han showed him the error of his ways. Then he never wore a cape again.
Still waiting.
No Capes!

well the thing is the game refers to them as cloaks, which are supposed to wrap around somewhat and would be better IMHO, but that's not how they are visually or in their movements
anyway capes are cooler than buttsocks and armbands
Still waiting.
This is all I've ever wanted for my hunter.
Probably moving to Monday.
Hearing most applicants are having trouble with the time. I'll still be there to run the vault, if we don't have enough it might be changing to a 2/3 man attempt. Expect the blue raid to move to Monday night.
