Vault Zero. (Destiny)
That wasn't so hard.
I deleted all my duplicate exotics (except Red Death) a ton of Legendaries that I never used, and distributed my resources among my characters. It feels kinda nice not having to worry about all those weapons collecting dust. I kept my ancient 77 Wizard and The Devil You Know though, just for old time's sake. Wish I still had my first true love, Fair and Square. :(

Wasn't a Fallout post, 0/10 would not read again.

Vault Zero.
With all the posts around here recently about dismantling a bunch of stuff, I think there are going to be some really disappointed people once more details come out over the next few weeks. Remember, the weekly update also contained the following warning in connection with this week's upcoming Twitch reveal: "Pro-Tip: Don’t dismantle anything until the full developer briefing."

I'm still torn up about Sharding my TDYK and LHF

Yeah, I don't get it.
Days after they tell people to wait a bit before dismantling things, people go on a dismantling frenzy.

Kids these days, all rebel and stuff...

I have 46 weapons total.
Six are Gyllenhaals.

F&S was my first Legendary

I didn't shard everything. Each of my characters has a variety of weapons to suit my various play style and moods. There's just no more excess. No holding one to anything but the most memorable or important Legendaries, no duplicating up of exotics. No hoarding of resources who I can't even trade in for Glimmer because I'm at max + several Royal Amethysts.
So, sure. Some people might be disappointed. Those that don't know what they're doing. But that's not me. :)

:(
I know in my heart of hearts that Three Little Words will be just slightly more powerful thanks to its Headseeker perk... but Fair and Square was when I first adopted Pulse Rifles as my primary weapon of choice. And remember, I was kickin' ass and taking names with Fair and Square back before Pulse Rifles got their nearly 10% damage buff!
Plus, Fair and Square is prettier than Three Little Words. :)

Yeah, I don't get it.
On the other hand, how many unused Fusion Rifle and doubled up Exotics does one really need? A low fewer that I had around, thats for sure! I got rid of everything that wasn't essential then held on to a few old favorites so I could go into TTK and enjoy the new weapons more fully. :)
Royal amethyst
Yeah.. Eliminated these during iron banners haha

Yeah, I don't get it.

That's fine, and I intend to do the same. Personally, I don't feel like I have enough information to know what the value of my gear will be in TTK. I'm inclined to wait a bit especially since they advised me to wait.

Then there's people like me...
I'm so far on the other end of the spectrum, I just bought my 4th, 5th, and 6th Gjallarhorns in case we're able to do something really cool with our un-needed weapons in TTK. Probably won't amount to anything, but what the heck. It's not like I'm short on coins :)

Maybe you missed it, but strange coins are used to buy an item in TTK that increases your chance of getting an exotic drop from the next boss you fight. It's called the 'Three of Coins'.
That's what I'M saving my coins for :-p

Yeah, I heard about that too. Looking forward to it :)
I've still got 350 coins in the bank, so I'm not worried ;)

I'm doing the same with an Unfriendly Giant
Not even a good roll, but for sentimental reasons.

I'm still torn up about Sharding my TDYK
You monster.

I don't remember if mine was Light/Beware or Bad Seed Down.
Doesn't matter. Light/Beware's a great roll so I've devoted a spot to my Bad Seed Down as my "keep even though it sucks" gun.

Still have my first.
My Super Pox Vlo is staying at 300 until they no longer let us play lvl 26 VoG.

Steel Oracle Z-11
..With Unflinching, Spray-and-play, and Flared-magwell. Terrible rocket launcher, but reloads like it's going out of style.

Why isn't anybody listening?
Bungie has said don't delete your vault weapons just yet.
The smart thing to do would be to wait until wednesday, when they reveal the ultimate plan for transitioning into year two. Then decide.

Comedian
Ascended it too! Solar Comedian with Full auto and Shot package.

Bungie has said don't delete your vault weapons. You'll see why Wednesday. Hint: trophy display in your apartment. You can move them out of your vault and still keep them.
…allegedly.
I hope this is true... but I have another couple theories.
I think Bungie is going to do something that changes the way we get rid of weapons we don't want. Instead of simply sharding them for parts, we'll be able to shard them towards a weapon we already have, in some way. I'm thinking 1 of 2 possibilities:
1) Lets say you have a weapon you don't want to keep, but that weapon has a perk you'd like to add to one of your other guns. Perhaps there will be a mechanic that allows us to take a perk from a gun as we shard it and add it to another gun of the same weapon type.
or...
2) We'll be able to take XP from a gun we don't want and dump it in to a new gun that we do want. So if I'm deleting an old sniper rifle that has all of its upgrade nodes unlocked, I can pour those XP points into a new weapon to upgrade it.

That sounds awesome.

That sounds awesome.
It was… until I ran VoG for the first time and got Found Verdict :-p

The Calling (scout rifle)
Has Firefly and Explosive Rounds. The first perk is unfortunately "Last Round", which isn't helpful on a 16-round clip scout rifle that I obsessively reload after every break in action.
But I'll never shard her. She's my baby. Once I get my next etheric light I'm planning on ascending it!

^-----THIS
We simply don't know what these weapons are worth. What does it hurt to leave them be for several days until we know?

To me, raid weapons won't get dismantled. POE ones are gone.

Agreed. *closes Vault door until Nov. 10th*

Red Hand IX
Actually it was a Hex Arc Caster (or whatever the word order was), but it was an awful archetype with terrible perks, so it eventually got sharded when I ran out of space the first time.
My second Legendary was my Red Hand IX that I got from hitting rank 3 in New Monarchy. Awesome archetype, with Outlaw, Explosive Rounds, and Crowd Control. It turns out this is basically Fatebringer (which I don't have), but with more stability (and no Firefly/Arc damage, but oh well). Still planning on hanging on to that one, one of the first I ascended.

Doesn't that one also have Field Scout?

Well we already know . . .
We've heard multiple times that you can now apply your useless weapons towards another weapon in that same category.
Obviously we don't know how that works at all, whether it'll only work with/for TTK weapons, etc. But we'll know within the next few days, so why not just wait?
Granted, it's not an issue I have to worry about:
Wait, what? :s

Yep
Yep, although to be honest I've never really used it since I'm a compulsive reloader especially with Outlaw.

That is literally the best normal gun in the game. Your gun.
