Stupid question (or, "why would you want to do that?") (Destiny)
The question: if you own an Xbox One... can you play the 360 version of Destiny on it? And if so, can you play with your 360 friends?
Why I would ask this: James has a friend who has an Xbone and that version of Destiny. With the latest update to the console, his friend can now play 360 games. James wants to know: if his friend gets 360 Destiny, can they game together.
Clear as mud?

I don't think Destiny is in that program yet
Hell, dunno if it ever will

Currently, no
Here is a list of the current games that work. The BC feature is still in testing, so the list is very small right now.
In theory, as a technical issue, it's possible that Destiny can join that list. But remember, the PUBLISHER is the one to give the go-ahead for each individual game, and TBH I wouldn't consider it a given that Activision will do it. They probably want to "encourage" everyone to upgrade.
Bottom line is, it isn't currently available, it could happen in the future, but there's no guarantee that it will.
thanks

Thanks to both of you. I kinda figured the answer was "no way".
