I still kind of feel the same way as I used to about crucible bounties. Wouldn't this make it worse since now there's tons of reason to do them? If it's anything other than winning, won't you have people on your team trying to satisfy the bounty conditions, possibly to the detriment of you?

I dont think so. They werent anything crazy. Win 7 matches, do 3 dailys over the course of 3 days, getting points by winning games. Its not like getting headshots with sniper rifles, the other vendor has those. I am really excited to have a Crucible way to get ensured high tier drops. Just doing the nightfall got old. Now I can play at my own pace and do this. I dont have to get a team together!

My understanding was "improve existing guns using a more powerful gun." It looked like you need to sacrifice a gun with a higher attack rating than the gun you're improving, and it would raise the weaker gun up to the attack value of the sacrificed gun. Essentially Ascension without the etheric light. If my understanding is correct and this mechanic is usable immediately, there must be at least 2 possible attack values for legendary TTK guns.

I'm betting more than two attack values. I bet it's somewhat similar to vanilla Destiny. Remember how you found Light Level? How it trickled in, finding gear with like 8 Light, then finding some with 15, then 18, etc, until the Raid Gear was the top tier gear.

I bet that happens all over again with Attack and Defense values as we go through TTK, with end game activities (especially the Raid) giving the most powerful gear.

Exotic Blueprints are cool… but why not go all the way and give us Legendary blueprints too? Bypass the vault issue entirely. Double the space is good, but it'll have to keep growing each year!

Since Legendary guns and below can be given to you with different perks, it may be more difficult to catalog not only all the Lengendaries but also all their variants. Sounds like a UI mess. :)

Because Legendaries all have different rolls. Would you like to have a Blueprint for every single roll possible for a weapon?

If you like your roll, keep it in the vault. Otherwise dismantle it. But you want it back! Make it from a blueprint with default perks. Reroll it again if you want. Either that or have the game just keep one legendary blueprint per weapon, and if you get another ask if you want to replace it.

(1) If I have a specific roll for my year one Light Beyond Nemesis (Strength 130) and I shard it, will the copy I can buy in the Exotic Blueprint console retain the 130 roll? If later on I receive a Light Beyond Nemesis drop with a higher Strength 135 roll, will my blueprint update to the new value?

I'm assuming the answer to that one is "yes", but it'd be nice to be sure.

(2) If I've leveled that Light Beyond Nemesis to fill out all perks, I will have spent 75 armor parts, an exotic shard, and a great deal of experience and glimmer (time). If I shard that helmet and then later decide to purchase it from the Exotic Blueprint console for 125 Legendary marks, will I receive a leveled copy with all perks unlocked, or will it require the same (considerable) effort and expense to level again before it becomes fully useful?

Given Bungie's general attitude toward player time requirements, I'm guessing that the answer to that is "no" - we'd have to level it again. Which makes sharding exotic items that I've already leveled to free up vault space unwise - IMHO it would cost too much of my time and effort to rebuild what I'd already done, I'll just have to keep wasting vault space storing all my exotics.

I have MANY exotic weapons that have one or less upgrades unlocked. I'd be just fine losing that progress to free up some space. But it would suck for ones I've nearly fully upgraded.

You're right, I'm sure a lot of folks have unleveled (or near unleveled) exotics and this would let them save space until they decide to level them. I'm an edge case with every (XBox) exotic weapon and armor ascended and maxed, so the blueprints do nothing for my vault space issue.

It looks as if pulling an item requires materials. Year One exotics required an exotic Shard, and Year two revisions Legendary marks. So, it's not like the blueprints are free vault space. You're still going to want to have stuff in the Vault.

I don't want to wear a hood. Given that they now contain defense stats that affect your light level, how much of a negative impact will that have on my character?

Would there be no way to infuse them?

Could we get other, non-hooded scarves?
