Since there will be some mechanism for the XBox players to acquire the formally PS-exclusive year one gear, I'm assuming there will be a way. If Bungie holds true to form, the drop tables for legacy activities won't be changed, so guardians could grind the VoG for vanilla exotics, Crota for the vanilla+TDB exotics, and PoE for vanilla+TDB+HoW exotics. If they're removed from the nightfall table, it would definitely be harder to obtain them. Xur wasn't mentioned today; he might be limited to the 26 new exotic weapons and ?? new exotic armors, or his potential stock might encompass the entire exotic library.
I'm more concerned by:
- Will the exotic blueprints store the highest roll dropped of each armor, and continue to be updated if higher rolls drop after September?
- Will the exotic blueprints store the highest perk progression of each armor/weapon, so that leveled (maxed) versions can be recovered without needing to be re-leveled?
- What is the highest attack value possible on year one exotic weapons? Is this obtainable solely via perk progression?
- What is the highest attack value possible on year two exotic weapons?
- Same questions re: defense values for year one/year two exotic armor
- Will the exotic blueprints (and shaders, ships, and emblems) be built solely from the current inventories, vaults and postmasters of guardians today, or will it also refer to grimoire and kill data to include exotics that might have been sharded in the past?
