The vendor version has aggressive ballistics too - it's a decent roll for the currently-favored long range shotguns, except Injection mold is reducing the range. Reinforced (best range) or Rifled Barrel (good range) would make it perfect.

I am just wondering who is actually going to invest the time this go around.

Seems like with the Taken King right around the corner alot of people are not going to do it, unless you havent got a felwinters?

Im torn on the matter, I have every weapon, and the armor is less than desirable in most cases I have seen. Not to mention it will probably never be touched after Sept 15th. Also Etheric light will be less useful to my knowledge, since ascending the weapons will only put them at the year 1 max.

I've got the old Simlars Wrath, but I've heard the new one is the slower firing archtype. I'll probably try to get on sometime this week simply to get one of those.

I have all the guns except felwinter, but given all the changes coming I'm hesitant to waste time for something that I may use for all of two weeks. I fully expect to have to replace everything when TTK comes out.

Felwinters is the only reason I'm doing it. I don't have one and would like one for PvP.

I really love my felwinters. I dont have the old superhouse one that everyone else likes to rub in my face, but its still a solid Shotgun. I usually mix up which of the "Big three" I use. (Felwinters, Party Crasher, Matador)

If the Bungie Twitter account is to be believed, they won't be returning after this IB.

I like IB because that's one of the few times we get full teams of DBOers. I'll probably only play on 1 character though, get the shotty and a couple E lights. Control is my favorite casual playlist anyway.

With the impending AR buff, it might be worth getting at least 1 character up to rank 5 to buy this Silimar's Wrath. Looks like a good one.

DBO teams and Etheric Light is all the incentive I need to play some IB.

I'll do it on Xbox at least. I think it's my only hope of hitting 34 level this week. And I still need to kills kolas so 34 is important

Played a bunch last night and this is the first Iron Banner I've done in *forever* where it wasn't completely full of lag-switching cheaters. Thank god for all of those bans.

That being said, there are a *ton* of Trials tryhards, so expect Thorn/Shotgun combos early and often.

That's funny, my first few games last night were completely unplayable due to lag.

Because it's fun.

I can't guarantee I'll be on every night (PS4, username Kahzgul), but if I am on, feel free to send me a friend invite and join me and my pals for some IB. We're terrible at strategy but are great individually. We also make lots of horrible jokes.
