Part of what makes Rocket Launchers and Fusion Rifles so good is that they cannot get critical hits, which means they do not lose effectiveness on shields or enemies with no weak spot, like Minotaurs. This is why Fusion Rifles are really good for dropping shields, but struggle more when you get through them.

I feel like such a weapon would negate that fundamental advantage.

Well in this hypothetical scenario it's an exotic, and exotics have broken the game worse than that before.

TLW is ridiculous and it only gives bonus damage on from the hip headshots; if it was all of them doing bonus damage, that would be absurd, not even to touch the ricochet issue.

Doing considerable bonus damage on a bodyshot really just means that all your shots are headshots, which is also ridiculous.

Naw, you can fully balance it with ease. Headshots to double base damage, right? So if you make body shots also do double base damage, you've eliminated the need for aim with the weapon. Then set the gun's base damage to 25 and you're doing 50 damage per shot, no matter where you hit. 4-5 shots needed for a kill in pvp is nowhere near gamebreaking and arguably underpowered to the point of uselessness.

I wouldn't call it broken, you could do more damage by simply hitting the critical hit area with every shot, which is pretty doable. You could say it's a bit broken for enemies without critical hit areas, but, well I'm not fond of those enemies being that way in the first place, so to me it's a fix if anything. I also don't think would overshadow fusion rifles, they have their own niche, although that could stand to be widened.

Actually it does bonus damage on zoomed-in headshots quite often if not all the time, and I think also on un-zoomed body shots occasionally, that's a big part of why it's ridiculous.

Well as it stands most enemies take three times the base damage for critical hits, with Cabal and maybe some others taking 2.5 times the damage. Doing 2 times the base damage on body shots wouldn't be that big a thing unless it fired really fast.

I think, if they know beforehand which will be Craig's last film, then they should kill his Bond in the film. It would fit the lyrics of that song and make it prophetic. I picture that all the Bonds (or all the 007s) have had this fate. Or it's a way of looking at the fact that 'Bond' has lived decades and been played by different actors.
