There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with trials as is. I mean, I hate it, but I love it if you know what I mean. This s kinda frustrating because it does feel like a feature I paid for being taken away. :(

I've never even played Trials, so I can't really speculate about it. I've always wanted to give it a go, but it's something I've never made time for. Plus I'm bad, and everyone else that plays a lot seems like they're always going to the Lighthouse and I'm not trying to impede anyone's progress or enjoyment.

Hopefully they're reworking it somehow to make it even better. People really seem to enjoy it quite a bit, so I hate to see it go away. Hopefully it's for a good reason.

I can totally understand why they are doing it though. There's going to be a LOT of new content dropping next week and the following week. It's like a TV show taking a break because the Super Bowl is on that week.

In fact Derek Carroll confirmed my suspicion on Twitter:

"Trials is taking a break to make room for other sweet stuff, like next week's Crucible Preview Event and new hotness in The Taken King."

Just come play Rift with us in the meantime :)

I'm glad I got to use my Hawkmoon to get to the lighthouse on the last weekend of trials. Thanks Cruel and TheeChaos. It's fun wasting all three enemies as they bunch up using the extra large magazine :-p
