Seriously, it is super easy to buy a bigger hard drive (they're dirt cheap now) and just use a transfer cable to move all your crap over. Just plug the new drive in with the cable, the 360 OS will detect it and ask you if you want to move data. When it's done, you snap the new drive onto the console, and you're done.
Note: it is a move, not a copy, so you won't have anything on the old drive when done. Also, occasionally there are some items that don't transfer successfully, but I've never lost anything important.

For what it's worth, if they actually ship me a 32GB flash drive, to me Activision is nice and not evil.

Not to me. Based on the wording on the Bungie page, this is precisely what I thought they'd do. Memory is cheap.

I am sorry I missed your farewell game
I thought my housemates were going to be out this weekend but things changed. This is why I was a "probably" but not a solid "yes" for the event, my current situation just ..isn't good. Getting online can be difficult for multiple reasons ..and staying online can be difficult too due to very poor internet service, I just game solo more often than not now because of it.
But now I wish I had just gotten on anyway and tried to join you. It might've went well.
Sorry for that :(
Maybe I will catch you in game sometime once you get the new drive. But I probably will avoid RSVP'ing to any more events until I move out of here.
