Question regarding character light to level

I've read this:
"Character Level will be determined by your maximum possible Year 1 Light Level going into TTK"

I have three Titans that all share armour to get to light 34. Does this mean all three will get levelled up when the update drops or do I need all three to be 34 light by tomorrow?

I could be way off, but my understanding is that it will automatically search your character and the vault and determine the highest level that character can get based off of your gear and grandfather you in at that level. I doubt that it will take what gear your other characters are holding into account though. So I think your best bet is to put the best gear you have got into the vault so that it gets scanned on all three of your titans.

That would be lovely, probably, depending on the time difference ;)

My gaming habit has been suffering the last few years as most people I have gamed with since growing up mostly just play the currently popular competitive games or WoW, I try to avoid all of that :P Usually I spend a weekend here and there playing whatever game I've found that suits my fancy, definitely trying to find good co-op experiences as that is a favorite activity, if I can get people to play with me :)

I'm mostly on Steam nowadays, I should try and add more people from here I guess :o here's my Steam profile :) again time difference does make it tricky as it has always been. It was kind of funny with XBL, the majority of my friends were from the US and everyone started playing when I went to bed -_-

I might just get both the Vive and Rift :) But we'll see, depends on pricing, availability, etc... but exciting times to be a gamer, me thinks :3 As they say, see you in the Metaverse...
