Bungie let us initiate old Public Events! (Destiny)

So now that TTK players have the option to summon bosses, couldn't they add that mechanic to the other planets such that players could get the old public events.

Say have an option to lure in left over Sword Bearers or Packs of wolves? Admittedly its more fun when these events proc randomly alongside other events for multi alien mayhem, but wouldn't it be a bit fun for newer players to be able to see these events? What would be the harm in stumbling across some abandoned hive ritual and having Ghost complete it so we could run around with Crota's sword and bag some Taken?

Also, we really need some longer term public events where if the enemy isn't defeated they stick around and fortify the area, changing the layout and types of enemies and terrain present.
