How does one actually close a Fireteam on Xbone? (Destiny)

It was easy on 360... just use the little control thingy on the corner. On Xbone... it opens the party app which does nothing?? Help?

It's actually some really complicated bullcrap... Just like everything else on the Xbox One.
You have to go to the party app, and make it invite – only. It's stupid.

You have to create a party by yourself and set it to private. It's pretty much the biggest reason I feel uneasy joining people without talking to them first.
Not that I don't do it, mind you. :p

People can still join your fireteam.

Saw Raga was able to download the update and got logged on so I joined up with him and he asked this exact question. How rude :)

A little annoying, but this is how without using a party

You have to go to to your own profile, you will see Destiny on the right, select it, 3 options down it will same something like "Set to Joinable" change that to "Requires invites"
