This artwork is from a different DBO-releated project I'm working on, but I thought it would make a nice desktop picture (at least until next Monday when the floodgates open and I'm sure we get some new duds from Bungie). It's what I imagine a terraformed Mars might look like. Links below:

I really, really like that. Mostly because it reminds me of the old Marathon Flare Star poster (but in a good way! [and because it's cool on it's own]).
i hope this doesn't come off like I think you copied it, i just was reminded of that...

Woah, that poster is awesome! I've actually never seen it before -- is it from the original Marathon release? I certainly see the similarities, and that makes me even more happy. Marathon is the whole reason I'm even here! :)

Somewhat off-topic, but I really wish Bungie'd re-sell/remake it. I think it'd look nice next to my Things You Should Not See and The Ancients posters when/if they sell the latter again in 2021 when they release Marathon: Pfhor.

Yeup. I just tried the iPad version on my Galaxy Nexus and my Nexus 7 and it looks great (though I use Nova for my launcher and home screen configs). I had originally done the "large" image, but I thought it made the "D" too tiny on my screen.
