So . . . Wanna talk TTK Spoilers? Here's the place. (Destiny)
I wanted to make a thread for spoiler filled discussion of whatever you want to talk about. Story or mechanics, neat things you've found in the Dreadnought, whatever. Nothing's off limits, so you don't have to use the spoiler highlights if you don't want to.
Played for the better part of the day, today. Currently level 40, sitting around 220 Light or so.
First of all, the first part of the campaign leading up to killing Oryx was just fantastic. The best mission design we've seen in Destiny yet. It doesn't quite match Halo's missions in scope, but there are some really neat sequences. Climbing the colony ship in Cosmodrome was particularly awesome, I thought.
I've been running around the Dreadnought looking for Hadium Flakes for Shaxx and doing patrol things and generally screwing around. Found lots of chest that require keys I don't have. I've done the Court of Oryx a few times, which is a lot of fun. Three other random Guardians jumped in to help, and we ran it for probably twenty minutes. The Light Level 190 one with the Reciprocal Rune is pretty easy and gives Rare engrams.
I also found a Hive shard that contains a soul that will kill you in some tunnels. I couldn't do anything to affect it, but there's probably something to it.
I'm going to eat dinner pretty quickly, if anyone wants to Patrol the Dreadnought and explore, or run strikes, or do whatever, I'll be back online in an hour or so, hit me up on Xbox One.

One of the worm tunnels has a weird console that requires the Rune of the Wormsinger.

Hadium Flakes
If anyone is searching for these for Shaxx's quest, I've found a pretty efficient way to get the 25 of them needed.
Got to the Mausoleum on the Dreadnaught and just run the outer edge, searching the little sides rooms. There's like six chest spawn points. Run around and collect the ones that spawn, then run to another area and back to force reload the Mausoleum and do it again. Repeat until you have twenty five. Took me around thirty minutes, but I was also killing enemies along the way for a 10,000 XP bounty I picked up from Court of Oryx, so you could probably do it much quicker.
I was averaging about three pick ups per area reload.

The Stormcaller quest line includes a mission set on Blind Watch.
Cool to see Bungie using one of my suggestions!
Hadium Flakes and more
The best route I've found so far consists of making a loop around the spawn side in the hull breach, where there are 4-5 chest spawns, sometimes more if the Cabal chests spawn. Then you reset by running to the Mausoleum where you hit the 3-4 Mausoleum spawns.
In one of the Cabal monster closets on the path to the Mausoleum, there's a console that requires Skyburner Command Beacon to activate. I'm not sure where I got the beacon, but when I activated the console, it called in a Cabal recon team with a unique Cabal enemy who I killed promptly and got a Sublime Engram. This prompted a Cabal champion (Valus something or other) to emerge from the crashed ship, with a shitload of major centurions. Killed him and got Skyburners Deployment Codes. Not sure what they're for yet.
edit: the and more part
Skyburners Deployment Codes are used in the open hatch on the Cabal ship once you're in the Mausoleum. Don't do this unless you're ready to rumble. It will prompt a Cabal assault team to spawn, as well as a named Wizard. Killing the Wizard gave me an Agonarch Rune. This started phase two of this mini quest, where I had about 1:15 to sprint all the way back to the far side of the Hull Breach zone and scan the engines of the ship, before I was given about 2:30 to sprint all the way back around to the Mausoleum and then into the crashed Cabal ship to kill a special target, which gave me Skyburners Security Codes. Robo-Filion ended the quest and told me to go back to the console so he could remote hack it. We'll see what happens next!
edit 2: The security pass unlocks the sealed door in the Mausoleum part of the ship, as well as the chest inside. Got an encrypted engram, some wormspore, motes, etc, as well as a calcified fragment.
The Agonarch Rune is also a legendary consumable that says "Huntdown the hidden Taken threats." Evidently I've completed 1 of 7 threats.

I've got one of those, can't remember if it's the Deployment or Command Codes. A yellow Centurion dropped it in that area during an "The Enemy is moving against each other . . . " event that happens there.

You can also get an Agonarch Rune from the low level Court of Oryx; that's where I got mine. I also have 1 of 7. I think mine came from a high level guy that spawns where you very first enter the Dreadnaught.
Has anyone found the timed hidden chest in Mausoleum? That was a pretty neat little thing to figure out.

In the mausoleum there are some hidden bridges that span the big gap on the left and right. On the far left platform is an area where invincible blind Thrall spawn. I haven't figured out how to kill them yet.

Yeah, I was messing around with them, too. First thing I though of was Three Blind Mice.

She cut off their tails with a carving knife...

Well, my prototype's done!
Now what?

She cut off their tails with a carving knife...
Sword?
I'll have to give that a shot.

That'd be my guess, for a number of reasons.
it's SO GOOD
I stayed up until 2:30am so I could finish the storyline last night (I played until the TTK title card was shown.)
That first cinematic with the Queen was so cool. So many cool cutscenese, so much cool voice acting, Cayde-6 had some great lines, the storyline and what I was doing in the game actually felt like it matched up.
Running through the Crota raid alone was super fun.
The new ghost made a lot more sense with the lines I had never heard before. That tiny little sliver of ghost cutscene at the very beginning had a lot of heart in it.
AHHH. I really liked it.
I twitched a few hours late at night: marmot1333 on twitch

The hunter mission is set on Pantheon. It is really nice to see these maps used in a different way.
