Running gag... first Dreadnaught mission spoilers (Destiny)
I had a moment of serious concern when The Guardian's ship was disintegrated by the main weapon.
-is this a darkness zone?
-did Ghost get incinerated too?
Then Ghost transmated The Guardian on to the ledge and I lol'd pretty good. Thinking back to all those times in Halo where the Master Chief just missed his landing zone.
I can only recall similar moments in Halo, and H2 though. I can't seem to recall similar instances in the H3, ODST, Reach, and H4(343i).
Has Bungie done a variation of this gag in it's older games?

I thought that, too.
Seems like this whole expansion had a lot of stuff Bungie fans recognize, which is nice since the first game seemed to be completely different. Not even any Marathon logos.

I thought that, too.
We found a blatant pathways into darkness reference last noght too.

Hah! I totally didn't catch that!
