…is that faction Rep also applies XP to gear/weapons. I usually consider those to be separate counters. I thought that these new mechanisms were just for boosting our rank with each faction, so this is huge. Thanks for the heads-up!

Hmm. I'm not 100% sure it does. I turned in a bunch of commendations yesterday, and my gear didn't budge an inch (though my faction rep went up several levels).

Are you saying that different ways of increasing faction rep have different effects on XP?
