Are we going to try to finish this tonight? Or are we going to just reset?

It seems like there's been a lot of cross-pollination between teams on the Xbox One - should we reorganize teams to try to figure out when people can actually play? I think we are all stuck at pretty much the same place. It also might help to distribute out classes better for strategy's sake.

I might be able to get on after 8:30 CST for 2 hrs. I wasn't in on the Friday raid, so give preference to those folks first. If you need a spot though, i might be able to jump in. I've gotten to the cellar, so i think i'm in the same spot as you.

I don't have a good sniper, so i would have to run interference.

I don't know if I can be on tonight. It'd not going to hurt my feelings to not finish it this week. I put up a signup for next Friday to try again.

Was on from about noon-ish until I had a break after dinner; turns out I missed the second attempt by about 15 minutes.
C'est la vie.

I'll be on tonight about 8PM EST; if you need a hand, send me an invite.

I was in the Saturday night group, but I'd be happy to fill a spot. I think we're all at the same boss anyway. I'll be available basically from now until the reset, so time isn't a problem for me.

I'm in. I'll be available anytime after 6:30PM CST. Just shoot me an invite when we start grouping up. If we end up creating multiple teams, it would be a HUGE help to have a bubble Titan on each.

Bluerunner, Discple, Crappy, ProbablyLast/nacr, Blackstar, and Jchapman was the original team I am speaking of.

I don't mind if others want to join but they get first chance. My girlfriend might kill me, I told her I play games, but this week has been like everyday after I had stopped doing that for so long.

But I would give it a try, we just need higher health people.

I get weaseled almost every time I try to run the raid, so I'm 100% ok with someone else taking my place.

Internet is oddly garbage lately.

You didn't have issues with our team. I know you did with the other one.

Yeah, both times I tried to run it with the other group (zero, Funk, etc) my connection went down entirely.

If I'm on, then I'm in. Probably won't be until late. Don't wait on me. Go ahead if you don't see me on.

team gets about 75% damage done to him in the 1st phase (4 orbs). Instead of running back in forth like we were doing, just stand on opposite sides, and work your way back and forth down the line.

Last night as we were doing this the two pulling his gaze would run around to point the ogre to the proper pool. After trying this I noticed he turns much faster than we can run so why not just have the OGRE turn to the next pool. Our improved pattern was EXACTLY like theirs in that we move around opposite, like you tighten the head on an engine, we may have started on orb #3, but same pattern.

Very smooth. The main thing they figured out that my group missed was having the player up top (the one who doesn't have Golgoroth's attention) be the one to drop the orbs down into the pit. My group lost some DPS time because we were shooting down the orbs from inside the pit while the 2 players up top rotated to accommodate us. The technique in this video makes more sense.

Yeah, at 2:01 you can see the last burst of my gun softening up the globe. I believe you can see cyber softening up the next globe at 2:23. That felt great to figure that out & finally beat it.

edit: globe, orb? I dunno. globe sounds better.

I would try & soften up the globe, but not drop it because I was worried about the timing, looks like I should have just went for it.

The one thing that I didn't realize is that it's better to have a clear line of sight when you have his gaze as it makes it easier to hit those purple death blobs. That was the hardest thing for me, to keep an eye on the time while trying not to die to those purple death blobs that were bouncing all around.

Yeah it looks like Bungie timed everything out so that a single player has just enough time to take down a globe on their own, then immediately turn to Golgoroth and get his attention.

Same here. The clear line of sight certainly makes things look easier :)
