We've conquered the raid!

1. Oryx. This fight is pretty complicated at first, and there are a lot of little things that you can miss, but we managed to pull it off! The fight starts with a handful of Taken spawning, and Knights spawn on top of pillars. Once the knights are killed, the fun starts. A relic appears, and it works almost exactly like the previous fight. However, once you begin activating the platforms, Ogres spawn from the four corners. Killing them drops a corrupted light bomb. These kill everything when detonated…including you and your fireteam.

A hive ship will appear and drop off a knight. The relic holder will have to slam the relic onto the knight, and you will then get an aura of immortality. Inside you cannot be damaged. Oryx will soon open up his chest and charge up a doomsday attack. If he launches it, everybody will be killed. To stop it, you must shoot him in the chest and stagger him. You really have to put everything you've got into him. Snipers are key.

Once staggered, he becomes vulnerable. Shooting him does very little damage, but it opens him up slowly to reveal his heart. This is when you can detonate the corrupted light bombs, which can deal damage to him. You are protected if you are inside the aura of immortality. The more open his heart is, the more damage the bombs do.

You now have to shoot him again to knock him off the platform to proceed. He will launch light attacks at everybody, and you can only avoid them by sprinting like madmen. Sometimes he doesn't do that, and will instead teleport you one by one into an alternate dimension where you must quickly kill a Shadow of Oryx. Your heath will not recharge in the dimension. There are taken in there, and his shadow will dart around and hide in the edges of your vision, sometimes coming out to attack with a sword.

After you nearly kill Oryx, he will come to the front and make one final attack. If you stagger him at this point, he is killed and floats dead off into space.
