Black Spindle and the Vienna Singer

So not only does that Lost To Light get us an exotic, we also net a legendary starship with a slick black paint job and green tron lines.

As the resident ship enthusiast, this intrigues me greatly. Hoping we can get another shot at this after a few light levels up or something.

I asked someone who had completed for advice, and heres what I got.

+Adds are HP triggered. Which explains why we'd eventually get stuck in that entry bubble behind a wave of bullets. Their are four waves in total.

+Focus adds/blights, THEN burn the boss sounds like the way to win.

+Ideally we get to the boss with 6 minutes or more.

So yeah. Next week, I'm definitely investing in getting my sorry behind into the raid. I figure with all of us being high 290s, maybe 300s, its much more doable. Also maybe more thought into unit makeup. One of each class, new subs.

But if you let the blights and adds sit they build up to the point that you can't even poke your head out to take shots at him. We managed it by killing all (or at least the vast majority of) the adds and all of the blights, then focusing on him, rinsing, and repeating. Makes it MUCH more manageable. At that point the only real struggle is the clock.

This time we just got too frustrated with the game to continue. And for what? A gun we will be guaranteed later? For like 20 extra light? If we worked at it too hard next month when we all have them we'd feel foolish.

When going through this expansion, I'm trying to put myself in the place of Funkmon in March of this year, with all the guns. I'll have everything eventually. No need to front load it. Congrats to those who got it. I hope it wasn't frustrating.
