Black Spindle failure support thread. (Destiny)

My first attempt we killed the boss with 2:30 to go, but couldn't clear adds in time.

My second attempt my wife came home in the middle of it and I had to bail (it was her birthday).

My third attempt we got to the boss with 6:30 to go but couldn't kill him in time.

Fourth attempt was same as third.

Fifth attempt we got to the boss with 7:30 (!) to go but couldn't kill him in time.

I have no idea why my party for attempts 3, 4, and 5 couldn't deal the kind of DPS that my initial group could. Very frustrating.

I got to the boss with several groups, managing to get him down to about 5%, even, only to get timed out as too many adds built up.

I'm only at 253 at the moment and dropped in on them doing this and we got to the boss room with probably 5 minutes left twice and just watch as the ads overwhelmed us.

The third time after I dropped out, they, as 2 290+ guardians, got it easily.
