Exotic dismantling (Destiny)

Really? I mean, was this really a problem that needed fixing?!?

It's not like you can actually DO anything with "too many Exotic shards".


Sure you can. You can take out 300 or higher versions of exotics (which some apparently do exist, not on accident) and infuse lower grade weapons, and if you can create shards by leveling up exotics you take out of your blueprints over and over to get increasing amounts of shards it can take out a lot of the effort required.

Ok, there's that, but it also costs a nontrivial amount of Glimmer...I dunno, doesn't seem to me like a "patch level" worthy thing to even worry about, but that's just me.
