Log in, use coin, go kill Draxis and myself. Leave, go to tower, get bounties, turn in any engrams, daily housekeeping etc.. Back to orbit, okay, kill Draxis again... Back to orbit... Hrm, need to patrol mars... Finish bounties... kill Draxis again... etc.

Draxis has become the new mile marker on my road to light level 310.

And if you want to do that, that's your provolone. It's fine, but just be aware that if you do these things too quickly, your odds at a free weapon/armor decrease slightly.

It's my... cheese? Do you mean prerogative? I guess if you're saying I'm cheesing it, you'd be right, so either way. Just a new turn of phrase for me, I suppose.

It's all about what you want to get out of the game; rewards for helping others run Nightfall? Sweet.
A schedule for optimized odds of a drop? Also fine.

The issue was people getting loads of rewards for not really doing anything.

And it's a totally understandable issue. Now the issue is that people who are clearing entire strikes back to back to back are seeing crappy returns from the 3 of coins and aren't sure if it's because of bad luck or this nerf, and the reason they aren't sure is that Bungie refuses to post a timer, and implemented the nerf without putting a cooldown timer on the actual coin, which would have solved the issue completely.

On the flipside, those that struggled to get a 310 Black Spindle are rewarded with the ability to get all of their Specials to 300 for a couple of weeks, so Bungie both clubs and totally nails reward systems...

I think the heroic challenge and related rewards are awesome!
