Holy smokes that is immediately better than twitch in terms of ease of use. I just hit the play button and bam, there you were live. No chat that I can see, but most of that is crap on twitch anyway. I'm really digging this.

Could this be if they are in party chat instead of fireteam chat?

I'm seeing the little chat icons in the lower right. Those don't show up when you're in party chat. Not sure why we can't hear them, though.

I just noticed this is on Xbox, which doesn't support native YouTube Live streaming (like PS4 will/does with the next firmware update), so I'm guessing Beorn is using a capture card or something to stream to YTG. In this case, the chat settings need to be set to "Mixed" output in Destiny settings (hear chat on both headset and speakers) in order for the Xbox One to output chat audio to the capture card (minus Beorn's audio, which would need the sidetone setting enabled through the NXOE)

I’m testing my external box. I’m actually pushing the stream to YouTube and Twitch simultaneously. Last time I did this I had A/V sync problems, so we’ll see how well this does.
Edit: I'd have to pipe the chat through the speakers and set up my second mic for chat to work. I'm trying to determine if doing that last time is what caused the sync problems.
