Black Spindle acquired! *Video*

Managed to complete the Black Spindle mission with Vortech and Ehud last night. Took us 3 or 4 tries. The trick that worked for us was to walk into the boss room and all use our supers to wipe out the adds and generate orbs for each other. Once the adds we're thinned out, we'd hit the boss until more adds spawned in, repeat.

Thanks again to Vortech and Ehud! Black Spindle might not quite match what Black Hammer used to be, but it's a fantastic sniper nonetheless :)

Dang, we'll have to try that next time. We zipped in, bubbled the boss with Armor of Light and Blessing of Light bubbles, Exotic Sworded him to death, then tried to clean up and even on our best run we never made it. Are the adds linked to his health kinda like Skolas or something? And is it worth it to push in and kill the blights? I'm unclear if they help spawn new enemies or if they're just there to be shot?

Definitely worth it, as they spawn more adds. I tried to prioritize them above all else. Once you clear out the initial room full of enemies, hit the boss. More adds will spawn shortly, but never in the same overwhelming numbers as what was in the room when you first arrived.

That worked for my group as well. Last time we got drowned by the adds, so clearing them out worked much better. I believe it was 3 attempts for us as well. (arwynn, houndzilla and myself)
